Eating healthy is a way of living. It helps you strenthen bones, muscles, tendons and lower blood pressure to live a brighter life. Healthy eating habbits can also reduce the risk of the chances of getting sick and getting chronic illnesses. We need to live life well and keep our bodies healthy to live a longer and less painful life. We all learn these habbits as children, then grow out of them when we get older, then realize that we should have eaten healthier when it is too late.
♦One can of soda contains 10 teaspoons of sugar and the average American adult drinks 500 cans of soda every year, estimating about 52 pounds of sugar consumed in soft drinks alone.
♦In a survey of 9th through 12th graders in 2011, 13.1% of the teens admitted to skipping breakfast in the past 7 days, while 11.3% had drunk 3+ servings of soda per day in the same time frame.
